iGaming affiliate software is a partner-management platform built for online casino and sportsbook operators. Beyond clicks and sign-ups, it tracks first-time deposits (FTDs), calculates RevShare on net gaming revenue (NGR), applies negative carryover, and reports by player, brand and country. Specialist options include Affilka, Cellxpert, MyAffiliates, NetRefer and Income Access, and most of them quote prices on request.
This guide compares those five plus Scaleo and MassPartner's brand platform, a lower-cost generic option, using each vendor's own website as of October 2026. It also covers what drives pricing and a checklist for migrating without breaking your affiliates' tracking.
What iGaming operators need that generic tools lack
Generic affiliate tools were built around e-commerce and SaaS: a click, a cookie, a sale, a commission. Casino and sportsbook programs pay on player value that keeps changing for months after sign-up, inside regulated markets. That creates nine requirements a generic tool may not cover.
FTD tracking and qualification
The core CPA event in iGaming is the first-time deposit (FTD), not the registration. Operators usually pay CPA only once a player meets a qualification baseline such as a minimum deposit or wagering amount. The platform has to receive deposit events from the casino or sportsbook backend and hold the commission until the criteria are met.
NGR-based RevShare
RevShare deals pay a percentage of net gaming revenue (NGR): gross gaming revenue minus deductions such as bonuses, payment costs and gaming taxes, as defined in your affiliate terms. Each operator, product and market deducts different items, so the platform needs per-player revenue data and a configurable formula. Our explainer on FTD, NGR, GGR and negative carryover walks through the math.
Negative carryover
When players win, an affiliate's monthly NGR can go negative. Negative carryover decides whether that deficit rolls into next month's balance or resets to zero. The policy belongs in the contract; the software has to apply it consistently per affiliate, brand and period, and show affiliates the running balance.
Example: an affiliate's players generate −$4,000 NGR in March and +$10,000 in April on a 30% RevShare deal. With carryover, April's commission base is $6,000 and the payout is $1,800. Without it, March pays $0 and April pays $3,000.
btag and tracking parameters
Many casino platforms store the affiliate reference on the player account at registration, often as a btag or a similarly named parameter. That player-to-affiliate link must survive across devices and sessions, because every later deposit and revenue event is credited through it.
Player-level reporting
Commission disputes are settled player by player: registration date, first deposit date, deposit totals, NGR, country and product. Without player-level detail, neither side can verify which players qualified or why a RevShare balance moved.
Country restrictions
A license covers specific markets. The platform should restrict offers by GEO, block or flag traffic from countries you are not licensed in, and keep a log you can show a regulator. See country blocking for how this works at click level.
Fraud controls
iGaming fraud centers on bonus abuse, multi-accounting, self-referral and low-value FTDs bought to trigger CPA payouts. Look for risk scoring, duplicate-player checks, and the ability to reverse commission when your risk team flags a player.
Sportsbook and multi-product needs
Sportsbooks add timing problems: revenue only exists once bets settle, and a big event can swing an affiliate's NGR from positive to negative within a weekend. Operators with casino, sportsbook and poker under one roof also tend to pay different rates per product. Check that the platform can split NGR and commission plans by product and brand, and that reporting periods line up with how your backend settles bets.
Compliance and data protection
Regulators hold operators accountable for affiliate marketing. The platform should support affiliate KYC, contract and creative approval, and data handling that matches your license conditions and privacy obligations.

Scaleo
Who it fits: operators and iGaming affiliate networks that want published pricing and a self-serve trial.
Notable features: Scaleo's pricing page lists an iGaming module (iGaming metrics, reports and dashboard), Advanced Anti-Fraud Logic, S2S postback and promo-code tracking, a sub-affiliate system and, on operator plans, an advanced commission constructor.
Pricing: operator plans from €1,600/month (Scale) and from €2,400/month (Custom), plus €500/month per additional brand; network plans from €600/month for 30,000 conversions. There is a 14-day free trial, and annual billing saves up to 15%.
MassPartner (lower-cost generic option)
Who it fits: new or smaller operators, or teams running mostly CPA and hybrid deals, who want a published price and already calculate NGR in their own backend.
What it does: CPA, CPS, CPL, CPC, CPI, RevShare and Hybrid commission types; S2S postbacks from your backend; allowed and blocked countries per campaign, with blocked clicks logged in reports; a fraud score on every click (datacenter-IP detection, click-velocity limits, device fingerprinting, IP blacklisting); manual or automatic conversion approval with commission holds; and affiliate contracts with prohibited-actions clauses and e-signatures.
Scope limits: MassPartner does not calculate NGR from player activity, does not import player-level revenue data, and has no negative carryover engine. RevShare is calculated as a percentage of the revenue amount your backend sends with each postback event, so NGR and any carryover are computed on your side. Tracking runs on MassPartner's own click ID returned in your postback, not on an operator-managed btag.
Pricing: from $79/month (Starter) to Enterprise from $699/month, with a 7-day free trial on all plans.

Pricing realities
Five of the six iGaming specialists above don't publish prices. MyAffiliates describes its structure (setup fee plus monthly subscription) without figures, and Scaleo is the only one with a public price list. Expect a demo, a scoping call and a quote.
What usually moves a quote: the number of brands and products (casino, sportsbook, poker), how player data reaches the platform, migration work, support levels and any managed services. Per-brand charges are worth asking about; Scaleo, for example, lists €500 a month for each additional brand.
Software cost is rarely the biggest number. Example: an operator paying 35% RevShare on $200,000 of monthly NGR pays $70,000 a month in commissions. If a misconfigured NGR formula overstates NGR by 5%, the overpayment is 35% × $10,000 = $3,500 a month, more than the list price of most mid-market platforms.
That is the case for specialist software: NGR formulas, carryover and player-level reconciliation reduce costly errors. The case for a generic or lower-cost tool is that your own backend or BI team already computes commissionable revenue, and you need reliable tracking, fraud screening and payouts around it. Questions to ask before you sign
- Is the setup or migration fee fixed, and what exactly does it include?
- Is pricing per brand, per product, per player record or per event, and what are the overage rates?
- How does player revenue reach the platform (API, file import, postback), and who builds that integration?
- Can the NGR formula differ by product, brand and market, and who maintains it when your deductions change?
- How are negative carryover balances calculated, displayed to affiliates and reset?
- What is the minimum contract term, notice period and data-export format at exit?
Migration checklist: switching platforms without losing affiliate tracking
Most migration pain comes from broken links and lost player attribution, not from the new software. Several vendors, including Scaleo and NetRefer, advertise migration support; ask exactly what it covers.
- Export everything first. Affiliates and their payment details (via a secure channel), commission plans, sub-affiliate trees, creatives, historic stats and, most importantly, the player-to-affiliate mapping.
- Preserve player attribution. Import the mapping so existing players keep generating RevShare for the affiliate who referred them. Lifetime RevShare deals depend on this.
- Keep old tracking links working. Keep the old tracking domain and redirect old link formats to the new platform, mapping old affiliate IDs or btags to new ones. Affiliates have links in old articles, emails and videos they won't update.
- Carry over balances. Move pending commissions, payment thresholds and any negative carryover balances, and agree in writing how open balances are treated at the switch date.
- Recreate and test commission plans. Rebuild each plan, then run test players through registration, FTD and revenue events to confirm the numbers match the old platform.
- Run both platforms in parallel. Track on both for at least one full commission cycle and reconcile FTDs, NGR and commissions before cutting over.
- Update postbacks. Repoint your backend's S2S events, and give affiliates new postback URLs and macros well ahead of the cutover.
- Communicate and update contracts. Announce the timeline, explain what changes for affiliates, and issue updated terms if the platform change affects reporting or payment dates.
- Close the old platform cleanly. Issue final statements, archive reports for audit purposes, and confirm data deletion with the old vendor under your data protection agreement.
Example: mapping old links to the new platform
Example (illustrative domains and IDs): the old platform encoded the affiliate and campaign in a btag, while the new one uses a path-based link. A redirect rule on the old tracking domain reads the btag, looks up the new IDs in your mapping table and forwards the visitor with the parameters intact.
Old link: https://track.old-platform.example/?btag=a_1234b_567c_
Mapping: affiliate 1234 -> 88012, campaign 567 -> 3001
Redirect to: https://partners.yourbrand.example/go/88012?campaign=3001&legacy_btag=a_1234b_567c_
Passing the old btag along as a separate parameter keeps an audit trail, so you can prove where a player came from if an affiliate questions a commission after the switch.
Responsible gambling and licensing note
Affiliate software does not make a program compliant; it only helps you enforce your own rules. The UK Gambling Commission, for example, states that operators are responsible for the actions of their third parties, including marketing affiliates. Check the equivalent rules in every jurisdiction where you hold a license.
In practice, only accept traffic from licensed markets, approve creatives before they go live, require age-appropriate targeting and responsible-gambling messaging where your regulators demand it, and build termination rights into affiliate contracts. Nothing in this guide is legal advice or a promise of revenue.
Keep the evidence as well: blocked-click logs by country, approved creative versions, signed affiliate contract versions and the dates affiliates accepted them. If a regulator or auditor asks how you supervised a partner, those records answer the question faster than any dashboard.
A published-price option for smaller programs
If your backend already calculates NGR and you mainly need tracking, fraud screening, country controls and affiliate contracts, MassPartner can run the affiliate side at a published price. Compare the plans and tracking limits, and use the 7-day free trial to test postbacks with real traffic.
FAQ
What is iGaming affiliate software?
It is affiliate management software built for casino and sportsbook operators. It tracks registrations and first-time deposits, calculates CPA and NGR-based RevShare, applies negative carryover and reports by player, brand and country.
How much does casino affiliate software cost?
Most iGaming specialists, including Affilka, Cellxpert, MyAffiliates, NetRefer and Income Access, don't publish prices as of October 2026. Scaleo lists operator plans from €1,600/month, while general-purpose affiliate platforms with published pricing start well below that.
What should sportsbook affiliate software track?
At minimum: registrations, first-time deposits, deposits, and net revenue per player, by country and product. It should also apply your qualification rules for CPA and your negative carryover policy for RevShare.
How do I switch affiliate platforms without losing tracking?
Import the player-to-affiliate mapping, keep the old tracking domain redirecting to the new platform, and run both systems in parallel for one full commission cycle. Reconcile FTDs and commissions before you cut over.
Does MassPartner calculate NGR or negative carryover?
No. MassPartner calculates RevShare as a percentage of the revenue amount your backend sends in each postback, so NGR and any negative carryover need to be calculated on your side first.
