To integrate RedTrack with MassPartner, create MassPartner as an offer source in RedTrack, add sub1={clickid} to your MassPartner tracking link in the RedTrack offer, and create a MassPartner callback that calls the RedTrack postback URL with clickid={$sub1} and sum={$commission}. RedTrack then records each conversion on the original click, with your commission as revenue.
This guide is for media buyers who run campaigns through RedTrack and promote brands from MassPartner, which is free to join for affiliates. For the basics of server-to-server tracking, see what a postback URL is. The same setup is documented for Voluum, Keitaro and Binom.
How the RedTrack integration works
RedTrack and MassPartner each issue their own click ID. RedTrack's ID is tied to your ad costs, so it has to travel through MassPartner and back. You pass it in the sub1 sub ID, MassPartner stores it with the click and the conversion, and the callback returns it with {$sub1}.
{$clickid} is MassPartner's own click ID. RedTrack can't match it, so don't use it in the postback.
Set up the RedTrack integration in four steps
Step 1: Add MassPartner as an offer source in RedTrack
- In RedTrack, go to Offer sources and choose New From Scratch.
- Name it "MassPartner".
- In Postback parameters, enter
{$sub1}in the CLICKID field and{$commission}in the SUM field. RedTrack adds both to the generated Postback URL. - Set the default Conversion status to approved, as RedTrack recommends.
- Set the offer source Currency to the currency of your MassPartner commissions.
- Optional: turn on Postback protection. RedTrack adds a unique
ptokento the Postback URL and ignores conversions without it (RedTrack postback protection). - Save and copy the generated Postback URL.
The steps follow RedTrack's guide to adding an offer source and offer.
Step 2: Build the offer URL with RedTrack's click ID in sub1
Go to Offers, then Create new offer, select MassPartner as the offer source and paste your MassPartner tracking link into the URL field. The link already contains a query string, so append the click ID with &:
YOUR_MASSPARTNER_TRACKING_LINK&sub1={clickid}
RedTrack describes {clickid} as the parameter that passes the click ID from and back to RedTrack (RedTrack dynamic parameters). MassPartner keeps sub values up to 255 characters and shows them in your reports. Keep sub1 for the click ID on every offer, and see our guide to sub ID tracking for using sub2 to sub5.
Step 3: Create the MassPartner callback with the RedTrack postback URL
In the MassPartner dashboard, open Callbacks, click Add callback, choose GET and paste the Postback URL from RedTrack. It follows the format of RedTrack's own examples (RedTrack payout tracking):
https://your-redtrack-domain.com/postback?clickid={$sub1}&sum={$commission}
Keep the ptoken value if you enabled protection. Tick Conversion approved, and send {$commission} rather than {$saleamount}, so RedTrack's revenue matches your earnings. The callback docs list every placeholder.
Statuses. RedTrack supports four fixed statuses: approved, pending, declined and other, in lowercase. In the Conversion Tracking Builder, enable Show postbacks for statuses and copy the URL generated for each status (RedTrack types and statuses). Then create one MassPartner callback per row:
| MassPartner event checkbox | RedTrack status URL |
|---|---|
| Conversion approved | approved (the default, so the base URL works) |
| Conversion created | pending |
| Conversion rejected | declined |
| Refund | declined |
Pick the offer source's duplicate postback mode deliberately. "Create new conversion" records pending and approved postbacks as separate conversions, while "Edit conversion with new data" edits the original one, and RedTrack notes that only the payout can be updated. If you just want clean revenue, send approved conversions only.
Conversion types and recurring sales. For RevShare offers, define types under Tools → Conversion tracking → Conversion types and append &type= with the exact, case-sensitive name. For example, use one callback on First sale with &type=FirstSale and one on Recurring sale with &type=Rebill. Add &rdtk_event_id={$conversionid} and choose "Ignore duplicate postbacks by event id" for the type, so a repeated delivery of the same conversion is not counted twice.
Currency. RedTrack's docs don't list a currency parameter for offer source postbacks. The offer source currency defines the payout currency, and with multi-currency enabled RedTrack converts it into your account currency using OpenExchangeRates rates updated daily at 15:00 UTC (RedTrack multi-currency).
Step 4: Test with Send test and a real click
- Click Send test next to the callback. MassPartner sends sample values (
test_sub1as the sub ID, a 10.00 USD commission) and shows the delivery result, HTTP code and exact URL. RedTrack can't matchtest_sub1to a click, but the test proves the URL is reachable and the placeholders are filled. - Open your RedTrack campaign URL once and confirm, in MassPartner's click report, that RedTrack's click ID sits in
sub1. - Complete a real conversion, or ask the brand to approve a test one, and check the conversion and revenue in RedTrack.

| Fixed per callback | Status URLs | approved, pending, declined, other |
| Fixed per callback | type |
Case-sensitive conversion type name |

{$orderid}, {$saleamount}, {$sub2} |
RedTrack sub1 to sub20 |
Added under the offer source's Additional parameters |
{$currency} |
Not available | Set the offer source currency instead |
{$clickid} |

Troubleshooting
RedTrack's checklist for missing conversions starts with offers that lack a postback or an offer URL without {clickid}.
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No conversions at all | sub1={clickid} missing from the offer URL |
Fix the offer URL, then check sub1 in MassPartner's click report |
| Callback delivered, conversion missing | Missing or wrong ptoken, or an IP whitelist on the offer source |
Copy the full Postback URL again, or review the whitelist |
| Types not split into columns | Type name differs in case | Match the name in Conversion types exactly |
| Pending and approved show as two conversions | Duplicate mode is "Create new conversion" | Change the mode or send approved only |
| Revenue higher than your earnings | {$saleamount} in sum |
Use {$commission} |
| Callback marked failed in MassPartner | Timeout after 5 seconds, HTTP 5xx, 408 or 429 | Retried after 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 2 hours; other 4xx errors are not retried |

FAQ
What is the RedTrack postback URL for MassPartner?
It is the Postback URL generated by your MassPartner offer source in RedTrack, with clickid={$sub1} and sum={$commission}, plus ptoken if postback protection is on. Paste it into a MassPartner callback with the GET method.
Which MassPartner placeholder carries the RedTrack click ID?
{$sub1}, because you pass RedTrack's {clickid} in sub1 of your tracking link. {$clickid} is MassPartner's own ID.
Can RedTrack show pending and declined MassPartner conversions?
Yes. Create separate callbacks for "Conversion created", "Conversion rejected" and "Refund" with the pending or declined status URLs from the Conversion Tracking Builder, and check the offer source's duplicate postback mode.
Does the integration cost anything on the MassPartner side?
No. MassPartner is free for affiliates and callbacks are included. You need your own RedTrack account.
