White-Label Affiliate Portal

Definition

A white-label affiliate portal is a partner sign-up and reporting dashboard that runs on third-party software but carries the brand's name, design and domain.

A white-label affiliate portal is the partner-facing side of an affiliate program, where publishers sign up, get tracking links and creatives, check stats and follow payouts, presented under the brand's own name, design and often its own domain. The software underneath comes from a third-party platform, but affiliates experience it as the brand's in-house partner program.

How it works

The brand subscribes to affiliate software and configures the portal: logo, colors, page content, sign-up form, program terms and, where supported, a custom domain such as partners.brand.com. Affiliates register there, accept the program agreement and log in to a dashboard showing clicks, conversions, commissions and payout history. Tracking links, postbacks and payout records are handled by the platform in the background.

The depth of white-labeling differs between vendors and plans. Typical elements:

  • brand logo, colors and copy;
  • a custom domain instead of the vendor's URL;
  • branded emails and documents;
  • removal of vendor branding.

Example

Example: an iGaming operator with three casino brands runs a separate portal for each, so affiliates see brand-specific creatives, commission plans and terms, while the operator's team manages all three programs from one account.

Why it matters

For brands, a branded portal builds trust with partners and keeps the program clearly separate from open networks, where affiliates compare many offers side by side. It also helps with compliance, because terms, prohibited actions and approved creatives sit in one place under the brand's control. For affiliates, a professional portal with real-time stats and clear payout information is a sign that the program is well run.

MassPartner gives each brand a branded portal at masspartner.com/{brand-slug} with a portal builder, and offers custom domain and white-label options on the Business plan (details for brands). Typical costs across vendors are covered in affiliate software pricing.
